At EY, Financial Services Organization (FSO), we have a dedicated TAS (Transaction Advisory Services) team working across Europe. Due to significant expansion of our business, we have opportunities for talented professionals, at Senior Consultant or Manager level, depending on the experience.
Job scope :
Working as part of the Financial Services TAS team, you will lead, and take part in due diligence engagements related to transactions involving both corporate and private equity clients.
You will analyze the financial and operational results and financial position of companies targeted for sale with a focus on the appraisal of the business and a risk assessment of the transaction. You will be involved in clients' considerations and discussions of the transaction.
You will work effectively as a team member and demonstrate commitment to quality. You will help to create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members You will also contribute to identifying business development opportunities, in order to better position EY as Transactions advisor in the market.
We are looking for motivated individuals with a track record of achievement as an advisor in a professional services and/or financial industry environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the financial services sector and will combine some of the following attributes:
A strong understanding of financial services and relevant accounting issues
A recognized financial services qualification (preferably qualified accountant)
Experience with due diligence in financial services institutions (insurance, banking, asset management)
Fluent in Dutch/French and English
In order to qualify for the role, you will have:
Strong academic record, including a degree in a relevant field; CFA certification is a plus
Excellent analytical skills and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work well within a team, and to lead as needed a group of high performing professionals
Resistance to stress and ability to deliver under tight deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Problem solver, able to work autonomously
Strong sense of initiative and open to new challenges and ideas.Most of all, it’s the attitude that matters! Enthusiasm for financial services is a must. We are looking for entrepreneurial people, who thrive in international teams and who have a global mindset!
