Leads regional commercialization teams in the launching of new products in the EMEAC region, through effective and transparent collaboration with the Global project teams during all phases of the product development and commercialization processes. As a key member of the Program Management Organization (PMO), oversees all aspects of the cross-functional regional team to drive successful and revenue-producing new product commercialization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Leads the product launch planning efforts in region, ensuring that regional inputs and interdependencies are well-integrated into the global commercialization project plan.

  • Delegates assignments to functional area team members, tracks regional progress against the project plan and reports that to the global team. Provides schedule, milestone, and risk updates from the global team to the regional team. Single point of contact within region for project scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Leads and facilitates effective bridges between global and regional teams ensuring strong communication links and teamwork at the project level.

  • Ensures that regional teams are formed for newly chartered projects and that the key regional stakeholders are involved in the early global commercialization strategy and customer requirement discussions.

  • Ensures that customer focused design requirements are at the center of Hologic’s decision making process. Ensures that the global core team is appraised of the region’s needs, and drives commercialization excellence at the regional level.

  • Ensures regional leadership is kept appraised of all project related issues and drives alignment and decision making within the regional leadership structure.

  • Proactively identifies and resolves product and project risks identified in their region. Communicate those risks back to regional leaders and global core teams. Lead resolution, mitigations as appropriate.

  • Follows the Insight Driven Innovation (stage gate) process for new products especially the commercialization elements. Identifies, recommends, and implements process improvements.

  • Presents regional updates at Leadership Team and Global Franchise Team reviews to discuss regional needs, business results, project updates and risks. Also attends these meetings and reports back to the regional project teams and regional leadership on any key project or product launch updates.

  • Maintains metrics and dashboards.

  • Provide support for the Sustaining portfolio as needed.

  • Other project management initiatives as necessary.

  • Strong emphasis on exceeding customer expectations, while maximizing value to Hologic and maintaining regional regulatory requirements and ISO compliance


  • Experienced manager with proven track record of independently, passionately and effectively driving the commercialization of new products and revenue-producing initiatives.

  • Well-versed and proven track record of successfully managing within a matrixed organization.

  • Knowledge in Product Development or Project Management/Leadership.

  • Knowledge of development of regulated products.

  • Experience in management of project risks.

  • High degree of competency in Microsoft suite, including MS Project.

  • BS Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Finance, or Business. MBA preferred.

  • PMP Certification desirable



  • 5-8+ years of experience in commercial new product delivery or project management.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and projects.

  • Experience with ISO and FDA or regional regulatory quality systems regulations and medical design and development cycles.


  • Experience with imaging and/or medical products preferred.

  • Product launch and experience in working with global teams and a strong understanding of product development

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English.
