As the Senior Culinary Chef EMEA, you are responsible for New Concept, Service and Solution development: driving innovation and new customer development. You work closely with research & development, sales, marketing, to launch product lines and win new customer business. You will be responsible for new application concept ideas, conducting demonstrations, supporting sales efforts for key-customers in EMEA region, emerging regional Foodservice customers, and new product lines. You will have to use market insights and customer knowledge and organize and participate in idea generation sessions to scope project briefs. As the Senior Culinary Chef, you shall be a credible source of culinary trends, culinary excellence, consumer insights, and have the communication & professional skills to convert new ideas to commercialized business.

Major Tasks

  • You have to work on projects, create and present concepts ideas internally and to the customer based on customer requirements.

  • You are responsible for marketing, sales and technical service support, and external demonstrations.

  • You have to cooperate with customer’s Culinary Chefs and R&D departments on projects.

  • You are responsible for hosting customer visits, including food planning, preparation, and demonstration in the Vilvoorde Research and Development Center.

  • You have to follow culinary trends, and culinary excellence to be a source of consumer insights.

  • You are responsible for maintenance of kitchen facilities, equipment and procedures ensuring a safe environment.


  • Culinary technical degree, or other related degrees and/or training.

  • 5 years of work experience in culinary or food preparation industry.

  • Professional Culinary Chef skills built through culinary training and practical work in a proven environment.

  • You have experience in finished products: soups, sauces, ready meals, desserts, chocolatery, bakery, biscuitery, pastries.

  • You have solid experience in giving demonstrations to bigger groups.

  • You are able to collaborate with multiple departments and internal/external stakeholders.

  • You preferably own a driving license.

  • You are a problem solver with “Can do” and “hands on” mentality, pragmatic approach.
