You will support the supply chain operations mainly on the domain of supply & demand planning and raw material replenishment.

In your role, you will manage the production planning of one or more product lines and consequently also the material requirements plan (raw materials & packaging).

You will be accountable for correct stock levels of finished products and raw materials(including packaging) taking into account the demand, production capacity & supplier capabilities.

You will combine your production planning activities with raw material replenishment tasks ensuring the correct and timely delivery of raw materials to our plant.

Principal Accountabilities

1) Supply & demand planning (70%)

  • Calculate net production demand plan for our solid chocolate range taking into account inventory levels, forecast figures, contract & sales order information with the aim to assure the right product availability

  • Define and monitor the planning parameters (MTO /MTS, safety stock levels)

  • Translate the production demand plan in material requirements plan to assure timely availability of necessary raw materials / packaging

  • Monitor pro-actively the finished goods and raw materials inventory. Assure at all times correct stock data in our ERP system and consistence with the data in our external warehouse management system.

  • Initiate and coordinate actions to assure healty stocks (reduce backlog stock, stock with limited remaining shelf life, rework stock)

  • Manage all stock transfers between our production plant and our external warehouse / 3rd party producers

  • Responsible for the allocation of stock or planned production to new sales orders (ATP process) so customer service can timely confirm the orders to our customers

2) Raw material replenishment (25%)

  • Handle the purchase order execution to ensure the best availability of raw materials in close cooperation with suppliers and production (check availability, purchase order entry, amendments, reception, invoices)

  • Follow up of purchase contract balances and liaise with traders when necessary

  • Ensure correct booking of goods receipts in ERP system

  • Register and follow up supplier complaints

  • Check supplier invoices and make necessary corrections to assure timely payment by accounting

3) Follow up of KPI’s (5%)

  • Report on monthly base stock levels vs target stock levels

  • Monitor the delivery performance of our suppliers (OTIF) and take corrective actions when necessary

  • Monitor our warehouse budget and take corrective actions when necessary

  • Report on monthly base supplier complaints & actions taken

  • Monitor additional charges linked to deliveries of raw materials and take actions to reduce


  • Bachelor degree with preferably some years working experience or junior Master degree

  • Operational planning experience

  • Fluent in Dutch, English and good level of French

  • IT systems literate (ERP, MS office)

  • Good communication and coordination skills

  • Accurate & Analytical

  • Commercial feeling

  • Afinity with physical distribution & supply chain processes
