As the Teamlead Production Planning & Packaging detailed Scheduling, you lead and provide direction to production planners/schedulers, and oversee a subset of day-to-day supply chain planning and scheduling activities across the site operation that spans across a BU. You lead, advise and make decisions on all major supply chain planning and scheduling activities for a small team with a short term outlook and low to medium impact on working capital. The activities include, but are not limited to: supply chain planning and scheduling operations, process development, planning & execution, customer & client interaction / business partnership, systems / data management & reporting, and people, talent & budget management.

Major Tasks

  • You translate the Annual Operating Plan, budget & People plans and bring it across to the team.

  • You are accountable for direct performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement.

  • You participate in the selection of direct reports, determine resources needs, plan for future workforce needs, and review with superiors before making selection decisions.

  • You develop processes & working procedures.

  • You manage performance (Key Performance Indicators/Performance Edge).

  • You translate from Mid-term plan coming from master planning.

  • You develop production & supply plan (donor- & packaging supply).

  • You connect with central inbound planning for crude supply.

  • You monitor & analyse demand patterns and production output.

  • You balance Supply & Demand.

  • You pro-actively inform & work out mitigation plans.

  • You manage optimal inventories to ensure service level, taking into account demand & production variations; balance between production optimization and inventory levels.


  • Master’s degree or equal through experience.

  • 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain related job (e.g. Planning, Operations, Logistics, Procurement). (Supervisory experience is a plus).

  • Have a high level of integrity, courage and conviction. You work pro-active, positive and self-aware.

  • Fluent in min. 2 European languages (English language of region).

  • Have experience with working in a multinational/-cultural environment.

  • Have experience with people management.

  • Strong communication/influencing/motivation skills.

  • Strong team builder and team player.

  • Able to network with different stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of production planning/scheduling.

  • Preferably experience with working in a matrix organization.
