Position Title Project Controls Manager
Belgium - East-Flanders
AECOM is currently seeking a Project Controls Manager Construction Services to be based in our Ghent office. As Project Controls Manager you will be involved in a greenfield construction project of an industrial plant in the Ghent area.
In the role of Project Controls Manager you will be responsible for:
Provides project controls services for the project, particularly planning reporting and document control
Monitoring and providing recommendations related to all Sub-Contract, Invoices and Progress Claim and assisting with Final Accounts.
Identifying and tracking changes, actual and potential, to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with the client and project management team.
Preparing Budget Reports.
Reviewing of Proposals, Comparisons and Contract Drafts prior to Sub-Contract award.
Responsible for development of the Master Schedule for the project and also specific detailed schedules to include timetable and progress of construction.
Monitoring and reviewing contractor construction schedules, submittals, material delivery, procurement logs and daily follow-up in addition to the necessary productivity measurement studies and associated corrective measures.
Preparing 4 week look ahead, ‘what if’ scenarios and Critical Path Analysis.
Measurement of all Sub-Contractor’s Works and reporting actual progress of the work versus planned work.
Ensuring the Cost & Material Controller is keeping appropriate records
Ensure that there is a programme in place for delivery of as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals for hand-back to the Client
Ensure there is a programme in place to ensure management of the process of Value Engineering.
Ensure that the programme effect of all Change Orders is identified as required.
Ensure there is a programme in place to manage and coordinate all test and commissioning activities including coordination with Statutory Authorities.
Ensure there is a programme in place to manage the process of handover of the completed project(s) to the operator(s), and Client(s) as may be required.
Fluent English and Dutch language skills are required.
A leading example in compliance and ethics
Experienced in project control and planning
Ability to work under pressure to tight dead-lines
Full Driving Licence
- Good grasp of IT, particularly Excel, Word and Microsoft Project.
