As a Therapeutic Area Lead you are the architect, leader and coordinator of the overall strategy in a pre-defined therapeutic area. The implementation and execution of this strategy are also part of your direct responsibility.
You will drive market share gain and market expansion and shape the market to obtain profitable growth in line with business planning and the P&L.
You are leading a cross functional team that consist of sales, marketing, Medical Education, Account Management, Customer Solutions, Pricing, etc.
Main areas of responsibility:
Map out the therapeutic area and disseminate all relevant data: reimbursement, therapeutic area potential, procedure numbers, technology penetration, pricing, hospital capacity, patient pathway.
Understand, in depth, the needs of all the different stakeholders in this therapeutic area.
Drive a high performing cross-functional team by inspiring and involving all members and be very clear on the objectives and expectations.
Measure the progress of the team versus the objectives that were set.
Build value propositions and take accountability for a flawless execution by the organization.
Ensure top of the class sales & marketing capabilities that matches the changing environment.
Bring a concept alive through the right strategy and implementation plan.
Main leadership commitments involved in the role:
Review & prioritize key stakeholders; determine stakeholder issues & define how to engage them most effectively.
Communicate in a clear and transparent way about the objectives and progress of the Therapeutic area Value team
Share examples of strong collaboration & role model teamwork.
Determine how to incorporate ongoing improvements into strategic plans.
Define new ideas for products or solutions by working closely with the Core Value team members and communicate and delegate to the workstreams in line with a pre-defined governance model.

You have previous marketing and/or sales experience for more than 5 years
You have proen the ability to manage complexity & you thrive in uncertain/ambiguous circumstances
You have the ability to connect and effectively collaborate across a diverse group of business stakeholders in a matrix environment
You have a strong passion and track record for innovation & the will to make things happen & deliver
You have strong communication & influencing skills
