Service Provider Account Manager
The Global Sales organization within Hewlett Packard Enterprise is expanding and now hiring a talented and energetic Service Provider Business Development Manager to join our dynamic BeLux team. You will engage with our impressive Service Provider clients to identify and develop new opportunities for HPE to pursue. Working together with other passionate sales colleagues, you will drive proactive campaigns to build the pipeline, utilize specialized knowledge of the industry and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate and close opportunities.
Leverages executive sponsors and other HPE resources to strengthen HPEs relationship and credibility with client influencers and decision makers
Researches and understands the client’s industry
Deeply understands client business strategies and challenges
Demonstrates breadth and depth of knowledge in aligning HPE capabilities to client business and IT priorities, and positioning relative to competitors
Builds and executes a Joint Business Plan (JBP) that includes both transactional and strategic initiatives to grow HPEs presence and share in the account over a 1-3 year time horizon
Builds and orchestrates sales pipeline activity. Ensures active nurturing of deals and movement of opportunities to close
Manages a balanced pipeline representing all of the businesses being pursued.
Identifies, nurtures and closes new solution opportunities that result in substantial growth in HPE share, revenues and margin.
Provide support to Account Managers and Partner Business Managers as well as provide input regarding business development and solution expertise.
Meets or exceeds quarterly and annual quotas.
It is expected that you will possess the following
University or Bachelor's degree preferred
Deep knowledge of Service Provider industry vertical with the ability to understand client’s business issues and translate to HPE solutions.
Keep abreast of trends and lead discussions with IT on strategic directions and linking discussions.
Capability to identify local focus areas and drive strategic sales activity on a solution basis.
Advanced degree of selling skills with demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota.
Account management and confidence to close sales deals is essential
Will to win and to run to the fire
Typically 5-7 years of advanced sales experience as referenced above
