The Product Manager is the ambassador of his product range on the Belgian market, and responsible to develop profitable growth with existing & new offers:

  • Maximize the profitability and the revenue of his portfolio:**

  • Achieve yearly targets for Order Intake, Sales and Gross Margin

  • Manage & optimize the product range

  • Adapt the value proposition to the Belgium market

  • Launch new offers

  • Define, propose and implement commercial action plans at targeted customers

  • Guide & support the direct sales force & EcoXpert partners to achieve sales targets

  • Identify and qualify the offer gaps

  • Identify synergies with other product ranges & secures cross-sales

  • Propose offer adaptations to the Product Department BU to comply with local specificity

  • Prepare yearly order intake forecast for his product range(s).

  • Provide monthly forecast to logistics for his product range

  • Master the market for his product range(s) and perform market research**

  • Measure and analyse the market: accessible market size, market share, market growth

  • Monitor competitors for their offer range and analyze their offer positioning (strategy, marketing mix, price policy etc.) Proposes relevant counter actions.

  • Final responsibility on all technical and commercial aspects of the complete product offer

  • Is the in country connection point for the global product divisions and provides insights from the Belgian market related to the product offerings.

  • Full responsibility for the pricing policy**

  • Defines offer price list and discount ranges taking into account market positioning, cost and targeted consolidated gross margin.

  • Elaborates the offer pricing strategy, monitors its implementation, controls globally the results and define the relevant policies and tactics

  • Regular review of consolidated gross margin versus targeted consolidated gross margin for the managed offer range.

  • Contributes to definition and development of commercial policy for the offer range

  • Handles requests for special prices

. Visibility and promotion

  • Be known inside and outside the company as the business driver for his product range.

  • Develop & deploy marketing tools to promote the product ranges: offer presentations, leaflets, sales memo, success stories, reference lists, articles for external and internal editions etc.

  • Animate sales teams for related products by providing full information on competitive advantages and added value

  • Participate in SE events: forums, seminars, customer days, etc

  • Ensure appropriate training of all relevant internal actors & partners/customers


  • Strong technical background or expertise in Low Voltage and Product Systems.

  • Minimum 3-4 years of product marketing experience

  • Mandatory working languages: Dutch + French + English

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, persevering and self-confident

  • Pragmatic project management, diplomatic & patient to reach alignment before taking action

  • Able to motivate a sales team & channel partners

  • Able to think strategically & tactically, and to deploy operationally

  • Can work autonomously

  • Respectful for cultural diversity and potential for long-term career in international leading multinational group
