Job Description / Information

The Job's Mission

The main function of the job is to review; order and schedule the Kit Investment Requests relating to PLCM that are currently placed on CER Tool and to also schedule the return of PLCM related inventory to RTS or otherwise dispose of the materials. This position will focus on PLCM activity for Joint Replacement and Trauma & Extremeties.

Key Activities & Accountabilities

  • Daily download and review of all Approved CER requests relating to PLCM

  • Update of all costs per CER request

  • Creation of LTC Orders; B2B and WIP for PLCM activities

  • Liaise with Supply Chain on status of PO’s and ETA’s

  • Tracking of Orders and communication to Sales Business

  • Sharing information with Asset Management team and follow up of Return kits that can be re used

  • Weekly submission of CER requests that require DLT approval

  • Update Closed PO’s on tracking spreadsheet

  • Liaise with local product managers for shipping priorities etc.

  • Distribution of summary ETA’s by CER reference to Asset Manager

  • Review PLCM phase out list to identify upcoming phase out brands

  • Prepare financial impact reports for PLCM activities

  • Report PLCM activity regarding ordering, shipping, and returns

  • Coordinate with PLCM Kit Build Operative for organizing the outbound materials

  • Coordinate with the PLCM RMA Specialist for organizing inbound materials

  • Receive reporting from PLCM RMA Specialist regarding returned PLCM stock

  • Investigate variances between expected stock returned and actual stock returned

  • Liaise with couriers, hospitals, sales reps, and RMA regarding the movement of PLCM stock

  • Train on product knowledge

  • Train on processes and procedures for ordering and maintaining the PLCM stock

  • Drive self-engagement and encourage the engagement of those around you

  • Creation of RMA’s for PLCM activities

  • Review and analysis of DOH as it pertains to PLCM activities

  • Engage in Q12 activities

  • Kit Build process for PLCM

Main Duties

Co ordinate new cer requests

Manage the daily trackit requests that are approved for PLCM activities

Obtain Senior management Approval

Ensure that theCERrequests are all costed and the appropriate level of Approval is obtained before commencing with purchase

Track and Schedule PLCM build and distribution

Effectively communicate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Kit Build team to manage the tracking and scheduled shipping ofCER

Communication with all stakeholders (Build/Sales/RMA/Courier)

Maintain a clear communication flow with Sales and Supply Chain to ensure that the Business is fully aware of expectations regarding the management of the PLCM stock regarding the entire supply chain flow from initiation of order from the supplier, to the arrival at SEA, delivery to the customer, return of swap out stock from the customer, and disposal of stock

Management of the Inventory

Ensure stock levels do not adversely affect DOH, order in appropriate levels to manage PLCM activities and the flow of stock,

Reporting

Weekly report to the Asset Manager regarding PLCM activity, stock level changes, incoming stock, outgoing stock, and values of DAR’d materials

Minimum Qualifications

A levels or higher (or equivalent)

Experience required:

  • Office Environment – experience working in a professional working environment.

  • Proven excellent communication skills

Experience preferred:

  • Product Life Cycle experience – experience working with PLCM or similar work

  • Asset or inventory management – work with evaluating inventory and making adjustments that reduces inventory while maintaining service levels

  • Medical Device Industry - Experience within the industry dealing with sterile and non-sterile components

  • Advanced degree in business or logistics

Any other particular aptitude / skill required

Ability to communicatein a highly effective manner andwork both independently and as part of a team on assignments. MustbeIT literateand efficient in an administrative environment.They must have the ability to work on their own initiative,prioritizing and organising workload.Problem solving skills and a great telephone manner are also vital to this role.
