SUMMARY: The Account Manager hunts for sales of Pall Laboratory Products which are sold directly or via channel partners. The Account Manager has the hunger to achieve aggressive sales projections and has a drive for results.
MAIN DUTIES: * Hunt, hunt, hunt: you are the chief hunter for sales in your region. You make it happen; * To develop and grow the Pall Laboratory business aggressively in line with the strategic plan; * To create extensive sales opportunities by visiting customers with or without the channel partner and close sales; * Provide field based sales support to channel partners if needed; * To provide technical support and market knowledge to all Pall colleagues, and others; * To complete and submit contact analysis report for all sales activities in Pall’s CRM system; * Ensure that key channel partner sales representatives in your territory have appropriate product knowledge and training to present and sell Pall products; * To respond quickly and efficiently to customers’ enquiries; * To communicate regularly all pertinent information to the EU Regional Sales Manager; * To increase our knowledge of competitor position and activities through close contact with the key customers within. OTHER DUTIES: * To participate in and support activities associated with Pall Life Science objectives; * To maintain a professional standard of personal grooming and dress; * To complete trip reports on a daily basis on key visits and distribute within 24 hours of the call being made; * To attend Pall Life Science Business Meetings, as required; * To work within the expense budget; * To maintain all company property in a clean and usable condition; * To complete expenses in accordance with the current guidelines; * To report promptly any information pertaining to other sales territories.
Knowledge & Key Skills: * Good written and oral communication Dutch, German, French and English; * Ability to analyse and present commercial technical and information concisely. Essential Qualifications/Education: * Master in Sciences Biotechnology (or equivalent); * Microbiology background/experience is a plus. Essential Previous Experience: * At least 2 years in Sales position with proven track record.
Miscellaneous: * Driver’s Licence; * Willingness to travel extensively; * Hungry for sales achievements; * Self-motivated and the ability to use initiative;
