We are looking for a new colleague to join our team in Abbott Diabetes Care in Wavre/ Belgium .

Junior Demand & Business Analyst

Primary objective of the position

  • Fully team up with Senior Business and Demand Analyst in the preparation of the planning and forecasting processes within the affiliate.

  • Support preparation of Plans/ LBEs/ S&OPs (Sales and Operations Planning).

  • Provide detailed customer units/sales forecast and follow up on actuals vs forecast.

  • Support the making of business decisions through value added analysis.

  • Prepare analysis reports to highlight opportunities or exposure.

  • Assist in providing financial support to commercial organization.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all planning and reporting systems and files.

  • Support preparation of Business Reviews, Plan reviews and LBEs.

  • Convert “into numbers” business assumptions provided by key stakeholders (sales, marketing, operations).

  • Act as lead for financial reporting tasks such as Daily sales, Sales forecasts, monthly SG&A analysis, PO accruals.

  • Provide analysis to explain financial results of business decisions and strategies.

  • Develop and simplify all internal reporting processes.

  • Assist Senior Business and Demand Analyst with additional variance analysis and projects.

Educational background and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or Finance.

  • 2-3 years of experience in the area of Finance or Accounting.

  • Computer literate: MS Office & ERP systems (SAP is a plus point).

  • Excellent analytical skills and a expert in Excell, preferably with macro and programming knowledge.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Dutch and French.
