Director, Market Product Management
MasterCard Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) develops and delivers world-class risk and security products & services for MasterCard customers across the globe. As part of this organization, the ESS Europe team leads the go-to-market plan for authentication products which will be important for our customers to meet the requirements of the Payment Service Directive 2 (PSD2), specifically the Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) on Strong Customer Authentication.
The ESS Europe team in looking for a Director Market Product Management Authentication to:
Execute MasterCards authentication strategy across the region
Provide expert knowledge to banks, merchants, processors (including Access Control Servers) on how to optimize authentications in view of regulatory changes (PSD2 RTS)
Drive revenues by helping the account teams sell our authentication product, including preparing proposals, presenting our solutions, coordinating implementations.

Partner with regional management, CAMs, TAMs, market development & product sales, develop and execute the authentication strategy and product sales activities within the region for ESS Authentication.
Support the development and implementation of regional pricing strategies.
Work with sales teams to develop and grow issuer penetration of ESS Identity Solutions products, including the preparation of proposals for our authentication and fraud products (including Identity Check Mobile, Identity Check Program, Decision Intelligence, ABU).
Clearly articulate the ESS Identity Solutions value proposition for our customers, including banks, merchants and digital partners, so it can be clearly understood and communicated by customer facing teams.
Explain our authentication products in the context of PSD2 RTS to banks, at conferences, during webinars.
Drive development of appropriate marketing collateral, training materials and other activities to advance the capabilities of downstream market and account teams.
Serve as ambassador for ESS Identity Solutions within the region socializing the vision and strategy with key internal and external stakeholders.
Develop reporting, analytics and presentations to Senior and Executive Management within the region and ESS Identity Solutions.
Lead business reviews in conjunction with the region and Global ESS Identity Solutions team.
Establish processes for ensuring market requirements specific to consumer authentication are captured and communicated routinely to global product development team
Responsible for the development and communication of regional innovations as agreed to with the region and ESS Identity Solutions product development teams
All About You
Significant relevant business experience with demonstrated success in driving business results
Strong passion for and expertise in authentication, mobile products, technology and e/m-commerce
Experience in strategy and in product marketing and commercialization roles strongly preferred
Credit card and emerging payment industry experience preferred
Sound business judgment with established conceptual thinking and analysis skills
Excellent organizational skills; project delivery and project management experience working with regional market teams
Superior communications, presentation and interpersonal skills
Strong ability to interact with and influence, build consensus and influence across a variety of internal business units and levels of leadership
Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team environment
Bachelors degree required, Advanced degree or MBA a plus
Position requires up to 20% travel
Fluency in English required, any additional European language is an asset
