IT Advisory is a fast growing practice within EY that is currently looking for experts who have deep expertise and broad experience to build a bridge between business and technology.
We are currently looking to reinforce our team with a Strategic IT Consultant.
Task & Responsibilities
Determine how information technology can drive our clients business objectives
Transform IT threats into business opportunities and define a future proof IT strategy
Ability to interact and build close relationships with CIO/CTO/CFO
Conduct IT maturity assessments and help clients to re-design their IT operations, IT governance model and IT capabilities
Build a business case and assess return on digital investments, total cost of ownership, P&L, and synergies
Define application rationalization/consolidation strategies and outline strategic roadmaps
Propose innovative technologies to enhance business processes
Coach clients how to deal with a cultural change and a new way of working
Perform sourcing maturity assessments and help re-define sourcing strategies
Depending on your experience and level of the role, your responsibilities will:
Participate in, or lead IT Advisory engagement
Help manage the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders or engagement partner
Participate in business development initiatives
Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff
Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training IT Advisory professionals
Build strong internal relationships within EY Advisory and with other service lines across the organization
You have a Master Degree and strong affinity with technology and strategy
Between 2 and 5 years of relevant business/technological experience
Good communication and business development skills on C-level
Expertise to emphasize the importance of an IT strategy
A background in technology or project management is an asset
Excellent language skills in English, French and Dutch
Willing to travel on a regular basis
