BT Sales Engineer in Belgium
BT is looking to strengthen its sales engineering team in Belgium. The candidate will undertake the lead technical role during the complete presales process in creating, selling and defending Enterprise-Class UC services.
The candidate will work closely with other team members (Sales, Bid Management, IT Operations and Service Design) to:
understand the customer’s business requirements and related UC needs
maintain awareness of technology trends, in the UC arena, BT products and services portfolio.
support the technical aspects of a sales opportunity
produce and document a solutions design
prepare and participate in presentations to the customer, at all levels
ensure customer satisfaction on the technical aspects of the proposed solution.
deliver handover documentation to the Delivery team.
Good sales, interpersonal and analytical skills
Relevant education at Bachelor level or equivalent.
Industry experience in an international technical/commercial UC environment and can act as a source of technical expertise to others in own area.
At least 3 years of experience in presales.
You are proactive in getting an understanding of client needs, and able to offer assistance.

Cisco IP Telephony and Unified Communication solutions (on premise solution)
Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS)
Cisco Spark (Cisco collaboration tool)
Good Understanding Fixed to Mobile convergence
Understanding of networking and Security aspect of the solution including SIP trunking, Mobility
Cisco certification or equivalent is desirable
Experience with “Skype for Business” is beneficial.
Experience in assessing risks and service level agreements for proposed solutions
Working experience with ITIL, (preferable certified) and configuration management
Experience in leading a team of subject matter experts
Language skills; Dutch/French and English
