In this role you will help shape the digital future of Eastpak by partnering with both internal and external stakeholders to help drive and exceed our eCommerce and digital concession financial results by maximizing sales and margin, sell through and bottom line profitability following Eastpakā€™s Global Brand Strategy and Vision.


As a key member of the online merchandising team you will be responsible for:

  • New collection launches by creating and managing both the eCommerce and digital concession online catalogues working across departments to gather all the needed assets

  • Driving the execution of the eCommerce and digital concession trading strategy

  • Managing site content calendars collaborating with our Brand Marketing team to ensure the best possible customer experience with a strong focus on mobile

  • Cross and upselling strategy

  • Assisting the merchandising team with all reporting aspects, identifying both quantitative and qualitative business insights to help driving decision making

  • Maintaining a strong awareness of the business context and competition through continuous benchmarking

  • Helping with the creation of business requirements for new site developments and with user acceptance testing

Required profile:

  • Minimum 3 year experience in online merchandising or digital roles with a focus on thinking retail, merchandising, coordinating and achieving business results

  • Experience of Google Analytics or other web analytics tools and eCommerce platforms. Knowledge of Magento or smart merchandising tools is an asset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs

  • Experience working with mobile design or merchandising

  • A good understanding of SEO and conversion rate optimisation

  • Knowledge of digital marketing practices, SEM, and social media

  • Fluency in English, any other European language is an asset

  • Passionate, work on own initiative trying new approaches

  • Excellent in time management, problem solving, attention to detail and communication skills

  • A team player, sharing skills and ideas to ensure the best outcome for business and the team

  • Able to efficiently and effectively work with third parties

  • Capable of foreseeing online user journey complexities and suggest improvements to ensure a seamless shopping experience
