VF Corporation Lee EMEA PR Manager in Belgium
It is your mission to deliver a creative and focused PR strategy and ensure its implementation and coordination into the Lee® EMEA region. In addition, you act as the ambassador for the Lee® Brand, building a strong communications network that will ensure good relationship with the general audience and rising awareness of the Lee® brand in each of our key markets. You'll use all forms of media and communication to build, maintain and manage the reputation of the Lee® brand in EMEA.Responsibilities:
Develop a media relations and product placement strategy to seek high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
Develop PR programs and tools to support key initiatives across the EMEA region including a dedicated social media strategy
Communicate key messages to defined target audiences to establish and maintain goodwill and understanding between the Lee® brand and its audience.
Coordinate all public relations activities across EMEA
Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
Manage the internal digital educational platform to continuously share brand knowledge with internal and external partners
Maintain a keen understanding of trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
Design, write and/or produce presentations, press releases, articles, leaflets, ‘in-house' journals, reports, brochures
Organise promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits
Manage the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation
BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
5 years of relevant experience within a brand or agency, ideally in fashion/retail/apparel
Proven working experience in public relations is required
Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
Solid experience with social media including blogs, influencers, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Strong interest in fashion, trends and youth culture
Problem solving and customer service driven attitude
Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
Team player with great drive and enthusiasm
Flexible and able to deal with deadlines
Eye for detail, accurate and proactive
Eager to learn, “hands on” and good organisation
Proficiency in written and spoken English and knowledge of other European languages is a plus
Ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule is required
