VF Corporation DC Manager in Belgium
Role and responsibilities
Coordinate the overall process flows in the Distribution Center on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis to meet the organizational objectives
Ensure that resources are provided to support Distribution Center operations. Work with the DC leadership team on labor staffing, systems, equipment, facilities, etc.
Monitor and measure DC performance with focus on continuous improvement
Provide effective customer service support to manage warehouse capacity vs. customer demands
Review monthly budget performance and accountability
Ensure 100% safe environment for all VF associates and business partners at the facility
Ensure compliance with all VF policies and local statutory regulations.
Establish, monitor and review ISO 9001 procedures
Establish, monitor and review internal control related standards and procedures (SOX)
Develop key direct partnerships with brand leaders to clearly understand their challenges and maintain alignment and pursue improvement in performance and cost
Support and optimize the brand’s service requirements by measuring results via agreed-upon KPI’s and SLA’s
Position the Distribution Center as an employer of choice by developing a working environment that supports the needs of all levels of employees
Be a clear communicator that manages expectations in a professional way
Support and develop your team to a higher level by coaching by example, using tools as performance and talent management
Lead by example and demonstrate excellent leadership skills
Establish clear annual performance and development plans for the DC leadership team)
Encourage team work and collaboration among stakeholders
