BT Business Support (entry level) in Belgium

Key responsibilities:

Business Operations at BT Benelux is formed of three separate teams; commercial management, business improvement and cost control. We are looking for somebody to join the commercial management team in a business support role.

In this role, you will provide support to the contract and account teams as and when there is a need. On some occasions, you will provide support directly to the customer.

As a Business Support you perform in-life business management activities for an allocated group of customers, such as:

  • Cost and revenue assurance - look into customer billing issues eg. missed bills or incorrect costs. Investigate and take action on both sides.

  • Change management - in-life contract changes based on customer demand. Business support coordinates requests directly from the customer and acts as the interface with the delivery team in Budapest.

  • In-life support action - if there are issues with customer invoice, check issues and take corrective actions. Also responsible for issues that may arise with inventory.

Next to these activities, you are also responsible for standard and budgetary proposals for new services or contract renewals which are not managed by the bid management team.

Skills and qualifications:

  • A degree in Business Administration or similar

  • Excellent sense of ownership and accountability

  • A 'can-do' mentality . Capable of taking initiative and understanding the business impact of the role

  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office), excellent usage of Excel is a must.

  • Excellent communication skills - ability to work with off shore teams is key

  • Ability to prioritise and manage a broad range of customers and activities in parallel
