ON Semiconductor Test Methodology Team Lead in Oudenaarde, Belgium

The test methodology team leader will support the methodology engineers in executing their tasks. He/she will help plan and follow up the specific sub tasks. The progress of the tasks is reported to management through weekly and monthly reports. The team exists of 2 sub-groups with distinct responsibilities. Both sub-groups of test methodology strive for worldwide standardization and development efficiency improvement.

Test methodology engineers

  • Mixed-signal product test pre-study involved in defining/recommending DFT requirements

  • Improving existing test methods and flows

  • Develop test and release new test methods and flows

  • Support for users

Test tools development engineers

  • Develop test and release in-house tools when needed for test development

  • Maintenance and customization of commercial tools for test development

  • Support for users

The team leader maintains an individual contributor role and is actively involved in project support, defining standards as well as in the creation and maintenance of the in-house developed tools. He/she has a good understanding of C/C Plus Plus (or is willing to learn) since majority of the developments is done in a C Plus Plus programming environment. A good knowledge and interest for electronics is also a necessity. Experience using Linux and GIT is a plus.

Education: MS Electrical Engineer Degree

Experience Requirements:

  • 10 years of Test/Product/Design Engineering experience

  • Experience with team leadership

  • Able to work well in a global environment with cross functional teams

  • Test expertise related to DFT and DFM methods focused on improved Product Quality and Standardization
