The Liquid Production Scheduler is responsible for the production scheduling of 4 liquids lines (production of 310 MT per day of liquid chocolate).

He/she assures the optimal production planning in accordance with our safety and quality standards and our lead time.

This key function reporting to the Production & Logistics Scheduling Manager, gives an overview on our chocolate manufacturing. The job holder will work in collaboration with another Liquid Production Scheduler who reports to the same manager.

Reporting to the Production & Logistics Scheduling Manager

Major Tasks

Daily interactions with solid production scheduler, supply chain, quality, maintenance, loading and production and coordination role with R&D, production and quality teams to ensure preparations are coordinated for trial formulations.

50% Liquid Production Scheduling

  • Plans, establishes and optimizes production schedules of 4 lines

  • Prepares short-term and/or mid-term (2 – 4 weeks) production schedules for manufacturing operations based on established workflow for finished goods, factoring in forecast, inventory, production lead times and plant capacity

  • Tracks progress of production and reviews factors which affect schedules

  • Extracts from our ERP all data linked with customer orders and validate them

  • Maintains manufacturing/plant capacity constraints, working closely with the production team to review and adjust the production schedule accordingly

35% Raw materials scheduling

  • Monitors materials inventories and orders bulks raw materials

  • Collaborates closely with production and supply chain to improve processes (optimization) to make best usage of storage tanks capacity which will have a positive impact to reduced standing time of trucks

15% Administrative tasks

  • Prepares all documents necessary for a good workflow

  • Participates to the daily call with cocoa department

  • Edit diverse reports


Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Engineer degree or BAC 2 minimum with good knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and VBA / Macro experience)

  • Strong rigor and solid organizational capacity

  • Reactivity, adaptability and flexibility

  • Logical, consistent and common sense

  • Ability to listen and understand the different departments requirements

  • Open and able to learn how the production lines work

  • Ability to multi task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment

  • Languages: native French speaker good knowledge of English

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in scheduling
