Description

Key Partner with CI|FPA BOSC to provide a consistent and accurate view and definition of the business data requirement throughout the CSST Group.

Actively supports and validates data that is part of the automation|Alteryx process, executing the required quality of data output. Working collaboratively with the Global BOSC FP&A lead, CI Lead, Alteryx Expert and Project Manager. The function includes data management solution leadership, governance, business partnering, service management, data management solution analysis|design, business analytics project execution and value realization

Responsibilities

  • Implementing existing metrics (i.e. KPIs) through Alteryx to drive performance and ensure current metrics are relevant and harmonized across the Group

  • Translate financial and non financial metrics into key insight and visuals by the use of Tableau for operational and strategic decision making

  • Help Identifying value creation within business by using advanced data analystics

  • Develop an understanding of our people data analytics strategy

  • Assist in the execution of business analystics implementation deliverables

  • Provide business data interpretation on request

  • Analyse, prepare and cleanse data ready for Alteryx workflow

  • Ensures that the processed data workflows translate to the right content|output

  • Assist in developing or implementing Alteryx flows to capture business operation information

  • Perform routine business analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining

  • Help to produce ad hoc data and reports

  • Partner cross functionally with IT to help design and build our people analytics data warehouse

  • Qualify and continuously improve data quality for the accurate and efficient movement of data

  • Maintain the data dictionary to catalog data sources, calculations, metrics, and uses

  • Identify and work to alleviate security concerns in data transfers, storage, and analytics created

  • Document so the team can grow and share knowledge over time

  • Utilize tools, benchmarking and systems to get to a more efficient and harmonized analysis

  • Working collaboratively with the BOSC FP&A, CI and other BOSC functions

  • Builds and maintains relationship with reporting super users, process managers, enterprise data sterwards

  • Serve as a champion of competitive excellence areas and promote a continuous improvement culture

  • Works independently with proactive approach towards BOSC business functions

Qualifications

Experience

  • 1 to 3 years relevant experience

  • Proven partnership with cross-functional teams

  • Solid grounding in financial metrics, balance sheet and income statement analysis

  • Abitlity to integrate and interpret disparate sources of data using broad range of analytical data tools. Incorporates use of statistical methodology and predictive modeling techniques.

  • Design, develop and implement value-added business analytics

  • Ability to partner closely with other BOSC functions for key information points

  • Approaches work with a global perspective

  • Work confidently within an international, virtual team

Technical Skill

  • Keen sense of priorities

  • Proven understanding of Change Management frameworks

  • Proven high excecution capacity

  • Constantly looking for better ways of doing things.

  • Tenacious, hands-on mentality, capable of executing under pressure

  • Analytical proficiency to derive insights from large and complex sets of business data

  • MS Office (Excel, Power Point and Word) proficiency and basic knowledge of Tableau and|or Alteryx

  • Manage time effectively, prioritising tasks and able to work to deadlines.

  • Presents a strong, professional, positive image to others which inspires confidence & commands respect.

  • Fluent in English
