MWH PAN EA provides a full spectrum of sustainable energy and energy management services. MWH brings profit directly to its Client bottom line by providing a strategic suit of products that includes: definition of energy strategies, energy efficiency audits, market studies, viability analyses, use of renewable and distributed energy and green procurement. MWH major client groups include multinational industrial companies, governments, international funding, aid agencies (EU, EBRD, World Bank, EIB, USAID, the Kuwait Fund, DFID and the UN), and utility companies. MWH PAN EA has assumed many leadership roles and provided a complete range of management services for energy projects.
MWH PAN EA has been awarded with the 4 years European Union funded project called: Sustainable Energy for All (SE4All) West and Central Africa. SE4All initiative aims to achieve the following 3 objectives by 2030: ensure universal access to modern energy services, double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency and double the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix. The EU supports SE4All with a strong emphasis on sub-Saharan Africa where the needs are the greatest. In this context the EU has appointed MWH as main contractor to support developing countries committed to reach the SE4All objectives through appropriate sector reforms and scaling-up of investment in the energy sector.
In the framework of SE4All implementation MWH is looking for senior and junior African and international experts in the following sectors:
• Renewable energy
• Energy efficiency
• Rural electrification
The right candidate will be part of an expert’s short list for short term missions in the region.
Energy SE4ALL experts - Future Opportunities
• At least bachelor degree in engineering, energy, economics or related subjects
• For senior positions a minimum of 7 years specific experience in one of the sectors relevant to the role (renewable energies, energy efficiency, rural electrification)
• For Junior positions a minimum of 4 years specific experience in one of the sectors relevant to the role (renewable energies, energy efficiency, rural electrification)
• Relevant experience in West and Central Africa
• Experience with donors funded projects is requested
• Fluency in French and good knowledge of English
