Job Description:

3M Belgium is looking for a Trilingual Technical Sales Account Representative for his Automotive Aftermarket Division

Overal Responsability

Primary focus is to ensure market share gain for the 3M-Festool Automotive Preparation & Finishing Systems and develop new business within the Commercial Vehicle body shops in collaboration with the Key Accounts & 3M sales representatives. You will also grow, develop and maintain the relationship with existing clients and employ all efforts to achieve durable relationships and sustainable sales growth in the Benelux market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible to promote the 3M-Festool Total Systems within the body shops sector. You will defend the existing business by giving excellent service and added value to the customer by offering tailor made solutions with 3M AAD Abrasive Systems & products. An excellent relation with the customers will be a key element to stay up-to-date with the standard operating procedure applied within the body shop market.

  • You will identify and create opportunities at Commercial Vehicle body shops developing the right approach with the right portfolio in order to sell specific standard operating procedures within this segment of the market & in the Benelux region.

  • You will leverage and maintain 3M strong market share within the body shops. You will also use our strong relationship within our distribution network in the region to grow further the business by providing new solutions & standard operating procedure based on local customer needs.

  • You will work closely & support 3M sales representatives at key accounts, develop the 3M network in the market, develop and organize trainings or workshops with technical responsible people or end users.

  • You will execute market focus programs: presenting product portfolio/solutions in target segments & achieving sales targets for the program.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should have a current working knowledge / field sales experience of the automotive aftermarket industry in general and specific in non-paint area ( paint systems, abrasives systems, masking systems, etc…). Experiences with selling sanding machines & with automotive repair professionals ( body shops) is a plus!

  • Bilingual French & Dutch but also fluent English is required. Qualified candidates must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative team environment and a drive to succeed.

  • Proficiency in the use of technology tools used to manage and develop new and existing customers, including but not limited to computer hardware and software and on-line resources (internet and intranet and telephone systems). Knowlegde of CRM Sales Force tool is a plus as well as working with MS-office , outlook 365 & mobile technology( i-pad, smartphone…).

  • Ability to close a sale and overcome common objections

  • Ability to apply superior analytical selling skills to identify sales and growth opportunities

  • Able to work independently and in line with supervision expectations/guidelines

  • Excellent analytical and end user problem solving skills

  • Adapt positively to a changing environment

  • Ideally located in the North of Antwerp. Will travel regularly to Nederland as well to support key projects.
