GMED Healthcare BVBA is the European Trading and Distribution Company for all goods of the Medical Devices (MD) sector of J&J, managing a network of Distribution Centers and the related in and outgoing material flows. As part of the MD Global Supply Chain, it is a central entity that owns all goods and manages financial flows related to European distribution for MD EMEA (and affiliate deliveries from Europe to rest of world). The GMED Finance Team is transitioning into a best in class end-to-end Supply Chain FP&A Center of Excellence.
The Senior Finance Analyst - Project will provide finance leadership to the GMED Project team Organization. This position provides exposure to M&A, innovations and other strategic initiatives as well as the opportunity to work with senior management within finance and with cross-functional business partners.
This position is part of the GMED finance project team.
This role will directly support the Senior Finance Manager- Project and provide finance and analytical support to the GMED team, as well as create strategic partnerships with other cross functional partners in Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, IT, Project Management to accomplish strategic goals.
Your Responsibilities as Senior Finance Analyst-Project include:
Provide support to M&A and other innovation initiatives
Build trust-based partnerships with teams (intra& inter) as well as externally with customers & suppliers
Responsibly work through the project lifecycle in accordance to the JnJ Project Management Methodology
Manage strategic projects through collaboration with relevant stakeholders across multiple functions in a virtual global environment
Work with cross functional project stakeholders to effectively respond to critical issues as they arise in line with Credo values
Capture interdependencies between projects and anticipate impact to final customer
Continually assesses impact of changes to the end customer and applies a quality & compliance mindset at all times
Document projects, controls and reports to ensure seamless transition to GMED sourcing team, shared services center
Active team member of project team
A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance/accounting is required
Experience in accelerating change and transition by making the complex clear and compelling to multiple levels of the organization
Process analysis experience, able to analyze the required sequence of events for a bigger total
Comfortable to analyze and understand operational details yet being able to abstract the detail to process level
Good fluency in English
Either Dutch or French language skills advantageous
Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, peers and customers and to establish internal / external connections
Resilient and flexible to change, ability to manage complex and ambiguous situations
Passionate, dynamic and goal orientated, demonstrating consistently result driven high standards
Proficiently changes and evolves own learning wit agile readiness for a changing environment
Ability to multi-task and work with deadlines, inspire and motivate teams
