NovaComm is a consortium between ICF Mostra and the Ausy Group who work closely together with DG COMM to support the European Commission in its digital communication. Within the consortium, Ausy specialises in IT technology and operational solutions, while ICF Mostra brings its communication and project management expertise to many varied digital projects. ICF Mostra looking for an online writer/social media manager (full time, long-term position) to reinforce its content team within NovaComm.
Key responsibilities * Write and adapt content for specific target audiences and for different channels (both web and social media) * Update and maintain editorial content of websiteson receipt of requests from content owners and provide assistance to them when necessary * Optimise content for online viewing and usability * Ensure the quality of all produced material * Submit proposals for visuals that can be integrated as part of text content * Monitors various online and printed media * Community management : posting on behalf of clients, interacting with users of social media platforms * Setting up and managing games/quizzes and similar on social media * Creates daily content * Monitoring trends and the client s presence on social media (benchmarking with other similar organisations) * Assist in the management of the social media platforms, including strategy development, support and training * Gather analyse and interpret social data * Design and implement social media strategy to align with campaign/project goals * Create engaging text, image and video content * Set up and manage promotional activation activities to attract audience (games, quizzes) * Facilitate online conversations with audience and respond to queries on behalf of client * Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics * Design, monitor and review ad campaigns * Design posts to sustain readers curiosity and create buzz around promoted topics * Oversee social media accounts layout * Oversee timely production of social media analytics reports * Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way to meet communications objectives * Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness * Research audience preferences and discover current trends * Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
Qualification: A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies, preferably in fields such as journalism, economics, politics, digital marketing and communications.
Required Personal skills: * At least 3 years of professional experiencein online writing/editing and Online community management * Specialization and special interest in digital communications and marketing * Native English level * Adaptable and flexible personality, able to take on and juggle different projects * Strong capacity to analyse documents and content in order to make them understandable to a wider audience; * Ability to propose strategic ideas & digital activations * Expertise in multiple social media platforms * Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively * Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) * Ability to follow and interpret internal procedures and standards; * Ability to meet deadlines; * Team player; * Ability to integrate in an international/multicultural environment.
