The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for sales, development and growth of Enterprise business based on the Oracle Communications session delivery portfolio in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.


  • Selling Company's products by actively creating and developing new Enterprise sales opportunities as well as managing and growing existing Enterprise customer relationships

  • Developing target accounts’ sales strategies through direct touch as well as through Channel Partners and Distributors.

  • Developing relationships with target accounts at all levels and functions necessary to efficiently do business

  • Building the business case for the adoption of the Company's value proposition with target customers

  • Working closely with Oracle teams, e.g. Marketing, Sales Consulting, Alliances and Channels on developing the market and ensuring proper coverage of customers as well as the most efficient way of successfully closing sales opportunities

  • Delivering sales presentations, workshops and preparing proposals for customers

  • Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue quotas, accurately forecasting bookings and revenue

  • Complying with all Oracle processes applicable for conducting business, adhering to Oracle polices a reporting procedures.


  • High-energy, success driven and self-motivated

  • Proven track record of successful selling business communications solutions in the target territory. Proven and consistent success in reaching or exceeding quarterly sales targets

  • 8 years of sales experience in business communications sales to Enterprise customers

  • Good network of contacts in Enterprise customers across the respective region

  • Strong knowledge of the business communication industry and market landscape

  • Sales “hunter” personality focused on building substantial pipeline, able to properly qualify opportunity, define and execute winning strategy.

  • Demonstrable success in prospecting for new opportunities independent of marketing.

  • Experience in working with channel partners

  • Demonstrate ability to understand competitors’ strategies/actions and develops counter-strategies to ensure Oracle’s success

  • Deep experience with a consultative sales approach including preparing and presenting proposals for complex system solutions

  • Outstanding team work skills, ability to identify and coordinate all internal resources necessary to win opportunities

  • Ability to work with and influence senior executives, CIO, CTO, Chief Architects etc.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

This position is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory.

Works as part of an account team to identify, qualify and deliver Hardware products/ solutions. Responsible for the account plan to drive goal attainment in assigned territory. Coordinates with the other members of the sales team (employees and partners) to support account sales and business development strategies. Helps identify and engage the appropriate partner to meet customer specifications. Becomes trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers. Drives company's strategy into assigned accounts. Follows all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit. Ensures that the company's sales programs are known and executed in assigned territory, including personal follow-up and engagement in selected opportunities. Achieves or exceeds the quarterly and annual sales goals. May travel frequently.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 10 plus years experience. BA/BS degree preferred.
