The Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategist is responsible for developing digital and social media strategies, trying out new ideas and successfully managing the implementation of digital strategies. He/she works in close collaboration with ICF Mostra s strategic planners and creative teams. The strategist provides clients with guidance in digital marketing and social media and ensures that strategies are both efficient and effective within the defined objectives and goals. He/she plays a vital role in promoting the integration of cross-functional teams and ensuring the seamless delivery of all work to clients. This role requires an innovator, a trendsetter and a progressive thinker who can connect the digital dots of a client business and drive growth opportunities. The Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategist not only answers key questions, such as how brands are communicated and experienced through digital interactions, how digital interactions fit into broader citizen experiences, and how digital touchpoints can be transformed in interactive encounters.
This strategist combines an in-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape with client business objectives. He/she has an excellent track record in designing digital strategies and a rich background in digital marketing and communication.
He/she handles the day-to-day operations of agency projects, including using online listening tools, research, scope development, creative briefings, project implementation and impact analysis. He/she should also be comfortable working in a diverse and versatile agency with a team composed of many different experts of different nationalities and have good communication and people skills .
The successful candidate must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with giving out of the box advice to clients and across teams.
Responsibilities Sets innovative digital marketing strategies in line with the campaign s overall strategy. Writes digital marketing briefings, encompassing creative thinking and a good media mix. Develops strong, trusting relationships with clients, providing leadership and support during strategy, ideation, and execution. Works with project managers and agency teams to ensure work is aligned to client and project requirements. Proactively keeps abreast of assigned clients' marketing and media plans and provides technological solutions including rich media, site optimization, promotional ideas, mobile, social networks, viral, etc. Follows closely digital marketing market developments and is aware of research studies that yield rich insights into citizen segmented online behaviour. Defines KPIs and measurements for digital strategies, provides and reviews campaign performance as well as reporting and analysis to clients.
Requirements At least 7-8 years professional experience with 5 years in digital marketing and communication. Proven track record of successfully managing complex digital projects and proven ability to set, communicate and maintain campaign objectives, timelines and priorities. Ability to provide cutting edge innovative activation ideas and concepts, products and services to our clients. Ability to balance big-picture thinking with strong attention to detail. Solid analytical skills and ability to handle data juggler. Proficient knowledge of social media platforms, their capabilities and their impact Up-to-date with latest trends and always eager to try out new formats & digital applications. Comfortable working in teams with good people skills. Excellent written, verbal and technical skills. Excellent knowledge of English, with additional EU languages an asset.
