We are seeking an experienced, self-directed and results-oriented Marketing Events Coordinator to join our Marketing Enablement team. At Philips Volcano we are working on industry leading solutions helping clinicians on deciding, guiding, treating and confirming the right therapy for each patient in real-time during image-guided therapies (IGT).

The Marketing Events Coordinator will plan and execute the organization of international or regional industry events to drive customer engagement, lead generation, and awareness. You are responsible for

As Marketing Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating (inter)national marketing congresses – together with internal and external stakeholders;

  • Coordinating the logistics (systems & disposables shipments to congresses);

  • Owning the financial administration of those events (creating purchase orders, handling payments, setting up and keeping updated finance files);

  • Proactively manage the monthly budget review and provide updates to Finance and the Head of Education & Marketing Enablement;

  • Managing suppliers when needed.

You are a part of

The Marketing Enablement team of Philips Volcano – being based in Zaventem, Brussels and consisting of 5 highly motivated and dedicated professionals. You will report into the Head of Marketing Enablement.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications;

  • At least 5 years of work experience in the field of event management;

  • Demonstrable experience in event strategy, executional excellence, and ROI measurements;

  • Demonstrable experience in coordinating with vendors, internal stakeholders and budgets;

  • A solid understanding of the Medical Devices and / or Healthcare business is preferred but not required;

  • Can-do attitude with mature communication and stakeholder management skills;

  • The ability to travel 20% of the time.
