As Research Associate III in Stability Services, you will: * Participate in the development of stability programs: develop non-routine stability strategy in agreement with the technical leader, analytical lead and regulatory affairs. * Actively participate in projects as stability team representative. * Effectively contribute solid technical knowledge to a variety of projects within the relevant discipline. * Display solid technical understanding of multiple disciplines outside the primary area of expertise. * Support and ensure relevant stability process, procedures, resources, and schedule are developed and implemented in BAP, CRO’s and China R&D from technical, operational, logistic and compliance aspects. * Utilizes knowledge of existing solution product lines and product stability to support Manufacturing Quality and Product Development organizations in their efforts to improve existing products, manage relevant change controls, resolve issues, and support development of new products. * Conduct routine as well as non-routine stability tasks with minimal assistance. More specifically: * Contribute to technical feasibility analysis of complex research and design concepts. * Accurately assess results for validity and conformance to specifications, utilize appropriate statistical approaches/tools for expiration dating and limits verification in line with procedures and project priorities. * Independently plan and execute a series of technical tasks that may not be well-defined, have multiple variables and required advanced techniques within negociated deadlines. * Demonstrate ability to apply technical theories and principles to projects within area of expertise for non-routine tasks. Analyze and determine best solutions to non-routine experimental design or research problems with minimal assistance. * Provide some analysis/redesign of key experimental procedures. Identify existing alternative methods and technologies for improving existing or new products/processes. * Independently select techniques and procedures to solve problems within area of responsibility. * Maintain knowledge of relevant QSR and other regulatory requirements related to R&D (product development, design and safety) to ensure compliance in all research, data collection and reporting activities. * Provide training and supervision to junior members within the discipline. Routinely provide advice and assistance to team members regarding unique problems. * Develop budgets and activity schedules of limited scope. * In addition to having an in-depth knowledge and understanding of GxP and related regulations and guidance, is able to provide expert advice and/or is an active participant in the generation, review, adoption and interpretation of such regulations. * Ensure stability deliverables are completed per the agreed schedule to meet business needs. * Maintain focus on meeting both external and internal customer expectations.
Who you are * Education: Bachelor or Master Degree degree in relevant scientific discipline with 5-7 years’ experience or PhD with at least 3 years’ experience. * Possess relevant laboratory/technical, writing and computer skills. * Ability to organize, assess and communicate complex information that engages the audience. * Utilize a logical, methodical approach in independently solving problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations. * Ability to make decisions when provided with limited information. * Contribute to efforts beyond own scope of responsibilities to ensure project milestones are met. * Ability to effectively mentor junior level associates * Ability to make routine decisions independently. * Ability to design experiments and draw meaningful conclusions from lab data. * Experience in working in global cross-functional teams and project management is a plus. * Very good written and spoken English. * Ability to work in a team environment. * Possess sound analytical knowledge. * Self-motivated and take personal accountability for getting the job done. * Quality oriented. * Demonstrate flexibility What we offer
