  • We advise financial institutions on the practical implementation of new accounting and regulatory standards in Banking and Insurance.

  • We provide added-value insights to our clients in matters related to financial accounting and its impact on accounting and reporting processes, systems and controls.

  • We combine technical accounting expertise with insights from the our Assurance, Advisory, Transactions and Tax departments.

Job scope:

As a Senior Manager within FAAS, you will be involved in direct fieldwork on a daily basis and participating/leading various engagements with our clients in de banking/insurance industry.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead client engagements, budget and proposals

  • Advise our clients on diverse matters such as the delivery of implementation projects, investigation and resolution of technical accounting issues

  • You manage projects, sometimes at various clients at the same time

  • Work together with our clients’ financial reporting teams to help them deliver financial information and improve reporting processes and have contact with c-level.

  • Conduct analyses on accounting policies applied in financial statements

  • Provide technical advice to ad-hoc queries from clients and internal staff as needed.

  • Strengthen our network in the financial services industry and within the global firm, in order to quickly identify and respond to issues impacting our clients

  • Contribute to the debate surrounding IFRS and various other accounting developments

  • Contribute to people-oriented initiatives and provide feedback and training to more junior team members

As a Senior Manager you will work effectively as a team member/coach and take an active role in creating a positive learning culture for our more junior team members ( providing them with tips & tricks and constructive feedback).



  • Between 5 - 10 years of relevant experience (financial and/or consulting), with proven technical accounting expertise

  • Knowledge of IFRS, FINREP/COREP, Solvency II, Basel II-III in the banking and/or insurance sector is a must

  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail

  • Solid networking capabilities, in order to build strong relationships both internally and with our clients

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral

  • Ability to perform effective research and translate complex topics in a clear, comprehensible communication to a broad audience

  • Fluent in Dutch an English, with a solid understanding of French

  • Assertive and proactive approach to the delivery/implementation of projects

  • Strong interpersonal skills: able to work in a team, inspire and coach team member
