In order to continue the expansion of our Supply Chain and Operations Advisory practice, we are currently searching for a Manager / Senior Advisor Operational Excellence.
Field of work
Within our Operational Excellence competency we help leading (international) enterprises to optimize their operation, both in the field of Manufacturing and Services. The scope of our projects ranges from individual shop floor level processes to (international) companywide transformations. We take an integral perspective on processes, systems, organization, performance management as well as behaviour and leadership. Lean (Six Sigma) principles and philosophy play an important role. Projects typically consist of an analysis and recommendation phase as well as the implementation, in which we take an active role in driving results and coaching and guiding the organisation and its employees.
Delivering large-scale, complex supply chain management and transformation projects with a focus on Operational Excellence in Manufacturing and/or Services
Conduct analysis of current organization and estimate improvement potential (quantitative and qualitative), applying tools such as Cost Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, Time-Spend Studies, OEE Analysis, etc.
Working with client organizations to enhance performance through the implementation of Six Sigma, TPM, etc. within Manufacturing and Lean, Visual Management, Performance Management, etc. within services
Active coaching and capability building of employees / shop floor during implementation
Building relationships with external clients and internal peers
Supervision of junior staff
Prioritizing objectives and contributing to project planning and status reporting
Assistance in delivering proposals and projects
Working in a fast growing and challenging environment with like-minded people
Working in a collaborative team analysing client issues and developing solutions
Anticipating and identifying risks and raising issues with senior members of the team
Working in multi-disciplinary and international teams in the delivery of high quality services, consistently and with proven global methodologies and toolsYour profile:
Master's degree in (Industrial) Engineering, Economics / Business (with a focus on Operations Management) or Econometrics with above average academic grades
2-6 years of professional experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Maintenance, Line Management, Production Control, Continuous Improvement within Consulting or Industry
Lean Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification
Strong analytical processing skills
Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Experienced in working with Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word and Visio
Fluent in multiple languages (i.e. Dutch and/or English German/French/Spanish)
